Dr. Paulette R. Eason-Williams is the founder of Heuristic Healing,  Inc.for profit private practice which began as Heuristic Quest  Foundation in 2003 and was incorporated in 2014 and the not-for-profit  Heuristic Quest HeadQuarters (HQ2) founded in 2009.  She is HQ2's  Executive Director and the agency is currently launching its addicti

Dr. Paulette R. Eason-Williams is the founder of Heuristic Healing,  Inc.for profit private practice which began as Heuristic Quest  Foundation in 2003 and was incorporated in 2014 and the not-for-profit  Heuristic Quest HeadQuarters (HQ2) founded in 2009.  She is HQ2's  Executive Director and the agency is currently launching its addiction  program.  The program will provide prevention, early intervention and Level I outpatient.  It will reach beyond substances to include process and other addictions that include gambling, sex and shopping, etc.

 She graduated with a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision May 2022.  She is a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) since 2003 and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor since 1998.  She is a Licensed CEU  Sponsor as well as a Business Consultant.  She has 2 Master's Degrees- Masters in Criminal Justice from Chicago State University and the other from Adler University in Counseling and Organizational Psychology, She is a National Merit Scholar and an NBCC Minority Fellowship Recipient. 

Her counseling style is laid back, down-to-earth and genuine,  Her preferred therapy style is Alderian-Existential.  She is a Pragmatic  Experimental Teacher.  She trains counselors-in-training and hopes to  target interns who would like to go into under-served areas and open  practices.
She is passionate about African American wellness and helping African Americans recover from the effects of slavery and racism.  She has written three books:  Anger Management,  Addictables, and Coping and Social Skills with Cope n Steady.

Adrienne Gross has been with Heuristic Healing, Inc. since 2021. Adrienne Gross completed her

Internship with Heuristic Healing and has been a Counselor IT since 2023. She has a Master of

Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business

Management Studies from Chicago State University. Her counseling 

Adrienne Gross has been with Heuristic Healing, Inc. since 2021. Adrienne Gross completed her

Management Studies from Chicago State University. Her counseling style is Cognitive Behavior

Theory and Choice Theory. Her professional Credentials are certifications in Family program for

people with co-occurring disorders, Motivational Interviewing and Individualized Service

Planning, Child Development, Family Violence and Addictions, and Family Systems Therapy.

She has worked with DCFS and Little City Foundation as a Child/Advocate as well as a foster Parent for 15 yrs. She also worked with Cook County for 26 years supervising and advocating

for employees under her supervision. She also holds an Associate degree in Applied Science. She

is very passionate about the mental wellness of African Americans as well as all other

nationalities of people. She has counseled both adults and children for mental health. She is very caring, genuine, and compassionate about mental health wellness for both children and adults.

She is very spiritual and believes that spiritual connectedness is very important to the mental

wellness of individuals. She is a lover of music and believes that music is also important and can

help with mental wellness. She loves to sing and play music, and she sometimes incorporates

song and music into her counseling practices. She also understands that everyone is not spiritual and is not musically inclined, so she adjusts her practices to the needs of each individual client’s

needs and wants.
